The Milestone started marketing petroleum products as a distributor of Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation in 2001. The business was initially undertaken within Milestone Holdings Corporation (MHC), the parent company of MPMC. In 2002, MHC organized Milestone Petroleum Marketing Corp. (MPMC) as a wholly-owned subsidiary; and thereafter, the distribution of petroleum products was entirely conducted under MPMC.
At the end of 2020, after two decades in the business, MPMC enjoyed the trust and confidence of more than 70 loyal corporate customers who are very happy with the products and quality of service that the company provides.
Mr. Antiporda has had a long successful management experience in banking, finance, and the commercial-industrial sector. His stints in banking includes having been President and Chief Executive Officer of a private commercial bank from 1983 to 1993; and being Chairman and CEO of the Philippines’ 5th biggest universal bank from 1993 to 1998.
Prior to founding Milestone in 1998, Mr. Antiporda was President and CEO of a business conglomerate engaged in telecommunications, shipping, airport services, air freight and travel. He was also formerly President and CEO of the country’s largest oleo-chemical firm.
