Shell FO Plus is a premium fuel oil formulated to deliver outstanding combustion performance and improved fuel stability & filterability. Combustion efficiency will be enhanced with the improved combustion and better heat energy conversion with lesser required excess air. With improved combustion, particulate matter and carbon monoxide emissions are lower.
High heat transfer is also sustained due to less build up of carbon deposit on the heater & boiler tube surfaces.
In low and medium speed industrial diesel engines, less carbon deposits on piston crown, piston rings, cylinder liner, exhaust valves, and turbocharger nozzle ring contributing to better engine performance.
Shell FO Plus is recommended for boiler, heaters, furnaces, and low-medium speed diesel engines designed to operate on heavy fuel oil.
Shell RFO is a residual fuel oil recommended for medium and low speed industrial diesel engines such as those used in power generation and in marine propulsion. Shell FuelSave Diesel is blended with up to 2% Coconut oil Methyl Ester (CME), in compliance with The Biofuels Act of 2006. It is recommended for all light and heavy-duty automotive diesel engines.
Shell Diesoline is a distillate fuel for use in automotive (on-road and off-road) diesel-powered engines and industrial applications such as marine diesel engines, direct-driven equipment such as pumps and compressors, boilers, furnaces, gas turbines and other combustion equipment.
